Our Services

Our audit and capacity building services are focused on manufacturing and distribution facilities, farms and agriculture producers to provide assurance to vendors, brands, retailers and other interested parties that the audited site is in compliance with the laws of the land, and the requirements and principles of the chosen code of conduct or program.

Due to the rapid speed of commerce and the need for quality data, ICG schedules audits as quickly as possible wherever we operate around the world.  We strive to respond to all requests for service within 24 hours or less.  Most audits are conducted within a two-week period.

WRAP®

The International Compliance Group was one of the first professional services firms to become an accredited monitoring firm for WRAP® - Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production. The WRAP® program is the world's largest facility certification program focused on the apparel and sewn products sector. Facilities receive a certification of six months to two years based on compliance with the 12 WRAP® Principles.

WRAP® certifies facilities, not brands or businesses. WRAP® is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with a Board of Directors independent of any industry group. It is not a membership organization. WRAP®'s comprehensive, factory-based model has helped it grow into the world's largest certification program for the apparel industry.

To ensure ethical integrity, please note that if we conduct a consulting or training assignment for your factory regarding WRAP, we will not be able to conduct your WRAP audit for that calendar year.

Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP Verifications)

  • Increase the opportunity for greater comparability of social & labor data
  • Redeploy resources towards improvement actions
  • Build mutual trust and respect, measure and understand working conditions and improve those conditions over time

C-TPAT Assessments (US Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)

We provide a C-TPAT audit (facility security audit) to ensure that your company is compliant with C-TPAT requirements and to assist you in becoming compliant with US Customs requirements under the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism. C-TPAT seeks to enhance security measures across a company's entire supply chain by compelling close cooperation among its constituent entities, from importers, brokers, and warehouse operators to carriers and foreign manufacturers and suppliers. C-TPAT is a voluntary government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain and U.S. border security. C-TPAT recognizes that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can provide the highest level of cargo security only through close cooperation with the ultimate owners of the international supply chain such as importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers, and manufacturers. Through this initiative, CBP is asking businesses to ensure the integrity of their security practices and communicate and verify the security guidelines of their business partners within the supply chain.

Corporate Social Responsibility/Social Compliance to your Code of Conduct

We offer Second-Party Auditing for compliance to ICG's Corporate Social Responsibility Code of Conduct, Customer Requirements/ Codes of Conduct and Third-Party Social Compliance Codes of Conduct.

Capacity Building (Training)

Today’s national and international brands and retailers expect their suppliers to understand the world of social and legal compliance, and be able to demonstrate that they run their businesses within the law and in a manner which will protect their corporate reputation and the reputation of their brands.  One grave error by a supplier can severely damage a hard-earned reputation which took decades to build.

Our consulting and capacity building (training) services provides the rationale, information and guidance on policies and procedures to create a comprehensive social compliance culture consistent with national laws and regulations, and generally accepted international norms.  This assistance will not only help the facility work toward a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, but also demonstrate they have the proper internal controls and procedures to successfully pass a social compliance audit.  The areas covered in the training are:

  • Compliance with laws and workplace regulations
  • Prohibition of forced and child labor
  • Prohibition of harassment or abuse and discrimination
  • Compensation and benefits
  • Hours of work
  • Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
  • Custom Compliance and Drug Interdiction

Social and Environmental Compliance audits are a critical component of every company’s supply chain. ICG provides third party social compliance audits for multiple sectors worldwide, including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, farming and food processing.
